Bangladesh protest: All of IndiGo’s flights to and from Dhaka were canceled after at least 300 people perished in protests in Bangladesh. The airline said on X that all of its flights for tomorrow had to be canceled due to the current crisis in Dhaka. We truly regret this development and acknowledge that it may cause you great discomfort and disturbance to your travel arrangements.

IndiGo stated in a different post, “We value your unwavering trust and patience and will keep you informed of any updates.”

India’s IndiGo offers flights from Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, and Kolkata to Dhaka. It wasn’t possible to find out how many flights the airline operates right away.

Before this, Air India announced that it was immediately ceasing scheduled operations of flights to and from Dhaka. Vistara offers daily flights from Mumbai and three weekly services from Delhi to the capital of Bangladesh, while Air India flies twice a day from Delhi to Dhaka.

“Given the emerging situation in Bangladesh, we have cancelled the scheduled operation of our flights to and from Dhaka with immediate effect. We are continuously monitoring the situation and are extending support to our passengers with confirmed bookings for travel to and from Dhaka with a one-time waiver on rescheduling and cancellation charges,” an Air India spokesperson said in a statement on Monday.
