Nishat said that over 100 students had already gathered at the job fair. Upon seeing the long line, even individuals of Caucasian descent appeared surprised by the scene.

Sharing the video, Nishat commented, “Job fair at Tim Hortons and the struggle continues, my friend.”

In the video, the student from India recounted that the employees at Tim Hortons accepted his resume, inquired about his availability, and then assured him that he would be contacted for an interview.

Following that, he proceeded to seek employment at a different store located in a different area of the city. “I’m uncertain whether or not I’ll be able to secure a job at any store. Therefore, it was a challenging day for me,” he commented. He also mentioned that the other job he’s applying for is quite a distance from his residence.

The video emphasizes the employment crisis and escalating unemployment in Canada. In the comment section, numerous Indian students revealed that they are on the lookout for jobs in Canada but haven’t had any success so far. Several online users also questioned whether the international students were unaware of the job scarcity in the country.

One user said, “Modern slaves from India?”

Another commented, “You guys came here without knowing the ground reality?”

Another said, “Maturity is when you understand that they will never call you for an interview.”

One user said, “No job yet, Truedumb is constantly hiring more people!”
