New Delhi: The expert committee on Non-Personal Data Governance Framework on Thursday requested the stakeholders to participate in the ongoing consultation on draft report, where the last date for providing inputs is August 13, 2020.

New Delhi: For the second day in a row, recoveries in a single day continued to post significant rise. The last 24 hours saw the highest ever single-day number of patients cured and discharged i.e. 29,557.
While the total number of recovered cases has jumped to 7,82,606, there has been appreciable growth in the recovery rate, which stands at 63.18%. Higher number of patients getting cured and discharged has contributed to increasing gap between recovered and total active cases. As of Thursday, it is pegged at 3,56,439.
New Delhi: The Indian Navy on Wednesday commissioned its largest solar plant with an estimated life of 25 years. All components have been indigeneously sourced, including 9,180 highly efficient monocrystalline solar panels.
Vice Admiral Anil Kumar Chawla, PVSM, AVSM, NM, VSM, ADC Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Naval Command, commissioned the 3MW plant at the Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, via virtual conferencing. This is in line with the Government's initiative of ‘National Solar Mission’ to achieve 100GW of solar power by 2022.
नई दिल्लीः केंद्रीय रक्षा मंत्रालय की ओर से भारतीय सेना में महिलाओं के स्थायी कमीशन को अधिकारिक तौर पर मंजूरी मिल गई है। सरकार की ओर से जारी किए गए नोटिफिकेशन के बाद अब सेना में विभिन्न शीर्ष पदों पर महिलाओं की तैनाती हो पाएगी।
इस आदेश के बाद अब जल्द ही परमानेंट कमिशन सिलेक्शन बोर्ड की और से महिला अफसरों की तैनाती हो सकेगी। इसके लिए सेना मुख्यालय ने कई अन्य एकशन लिए हैं। सिलेक्शन बोर्ड की ओर से सभी शॉर्ट सर्विस कमीशन (SSC) महिलाओं की ओर से एक्शन और सभी कागजी कार्यवाही पूरी होने पर एक्शन शुरू किया जाएगा जिसमें महिला अधिकारियों को भारतीय सेना के सभी 10 हिस्सों में हाई कमीशन की इजाजत दे दी जाएगी।
नई दिल्लीः चीन से तनाव के चलते वहां की वस्तुओं का भारत में लोगों द्वारा बहिष्कार किया जा रहा है। दुकानदार भी अब चीन का माल रखने में कतराने लगे हैं। इसी बीच राखी का त्यौहार नजदीक है और लोग बाजारों में राखी खरीदने बड़ी संख्या में पहुंच रहे हैं। पिछले कुछ सालों पर नज़र डालें तो चीन से बनी राखियों ने पूरे बाजार पर कब्जा कर रखा था, लेकिन इस बार माहौल बिल्कुल अलग दिखाई दे रहा है।
