Domestic air services resumed in the country with vague new guidelines

Patna: All passenger airlines were suspended from last week of March after a lockdown enforced to control COVID-19 in the country. After two months,  now the government has resumed domestic flights. These services have been restored with some certain conditions, which is completely different from the earlier guidelines.

Maharashtra political crisis over, Uddhav with 8 MLCs sworn in

Mumbai: The political crisis that has been going on in Maharashtra for several weeks has come to end today. Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has been sworn in as a member of the Legislative Council today. On Thursday, CM and 8 other candidates were elected unopposed to the State Legislative Council. After which everyone including CM Thackeray is sworn in. Maharashtra Legislative Council President Ramraje Nimbalkar administered the oath to Thackeray and eight other people elected unopposed on May 14 at Vidhan Bhavan in South Mumbai.

16 migrant laborers died, more than 100 injured in horrific road accident in different parts of the country

New Delhi: Due to the lockdown, a large number of migrant laborers are returning their homes from other states. These helpless laborers are still to travel home for hundreds of kilometres on foot. On Tuesday and Wednesday, 16 workers going home were died and more than 100 workers were injured in road accidents in four states of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar and Maharashtra.
